What is Hibiscus tea?

Hibiscus tea is a herbal tea made as an infusion from crimson or deep magenta-coloured calyces (sepals) of the Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa) flower. It is consumed both hot and cold. It has a tart, cranberry-like flavour. The tea contains vitamin C and minerals and is used traditionally as a mild medicine.

The exact size of each Egyptian Kombucha Scoby can vary. We always ensure healthy, newly formed Egyptian Kombucha Scoby are delivered. We aim for a minimum 10cm width and 1cm thick scoby to be sent on each order, but often then are larger than this. As Egyptian Kombucha Scoby growing is not an exact science, we can’t guarantee they will all grow to the exact same size.  Each order is shipped with approximately 100ml of starter tea. Where to buy Egyptian Kombucha Scoby.

    Hi,
I have got both Egyptian and regular scobys from buyprobiotics, and both were very well sealed and packed, and look perfectly healthy . After my experience, I advice every one to purchase from this site, the products and shipping are fantastic, and above all their support is very much helpful in a friendly and professional manner. Thank you buyprobiotics for the great job you do, and my special thanking to Mr. Wesley Brown for all the support and answering my every question . Once I start exploring brewing kombutcha with these two scobys, I’m willing to purchase again and try every product on buyprobiotics !

This is to stop cross contamination of the different cultures. If you are working with dairy in particular, this is very important. Please contact us is you require further assistance with fermenting more than one culture.
